Full Moon Sound Bath in Agnes Church

For this sound bath you have to bring your own mattress (ideally camping pad or inflatable mattress), blanket or sleeping bag, pillow and any other accessories to lie down as comfortably as possible on the church floor. 

Harmonize your relationship with all things and take in the fresh energy. The full Moon is said to heighten the activity of the mind, amplifying conscious thoughts as well as pulling subconscious ones to the surface. It is an favourable occasion to align with the cycles of the Moon and actively tuning into its energies can re-organise the personal energy flow, shed light on habitual patterns and open up greater opportunities.

The sound bath is a holistic approach to relaxation and healing, a journey of self-discovery through a state of deep meditation. The powerful sounds of gongs, singing bowls and other instruments facilitate a shift in brain waves from our normal waking state to alpha and theta states that are akin to meditation and where true somatic healing occurs. The sounds can cleanse the subconscious and bring one into a state of deep rest and expansion of the consciousness. Tensions and blockages in the body can be released, creating more space for the opening of the heart and allowing energy to flow better. 

Join us in this special church, known for its many beautiful stained glass windows and its excellent acoustics, letting the sound vibrations of the instruments to saturate into the body physically, emotionally and energetically.
