Gong Bath at Wajid Osho Centre
Time & Location
About The Event
Immersed in the sound waves of the gongs and singing bowls you may experience a deep state of relaxation and as these vibrations literally wash over you they give space and opportunity to release tensions and blocks. The harmony created by the tones brings about an inner stillness where deep healing can occur.
When attending a gong bath, you relax fully clothed on a comfortable mat on the floor, letting the sound bathe your body and carry the mind. The session begins with sounds of singing bowls or a variety of instruments, and then the gong is gently invited to start sounding, gradually building the sound with a growing myriad of harmonics. Throughout the session there will be periods of other instruments and sounds, but the main focus is on the gongs. These then gently fade to a variety of more grounding sounds towards the end, when complete silence pervades allowing you to be in this profound, powerful stillness for a short time.
Good to know:
You can find thick comfortable mats and plaids in the studio, however you are invited to bring your own blanket and maybe an eye pillow (or small towel / scarf, to fully turn the attention inwards).
Wear comfortable clothes.
Please make sure you arrive in time, at 7 PM we will lock the door and the access in the centre will not be possible anymore.
The door will open from 18:15.
